Join with the Church of the Transfiguration, the Episcopal Actors’ Guild, and Houghton Hall Arts Community for a spectacular weekend of music, art, and history celebrating our long tradition of diversity and inclusion!

Saturday, October 18th
10:30 a.m. Guided Tour of the history, art, and architecture of the church
11:00 a.m. Interactive Presentation on Church Vestments by Steve Leavitt
11:45 a.m. Family Concert with Dr. Claudia Dumschat on the organ
12:00-2:00 p.m. Art Gallery Reception at Houghton Hall Arts Community, hosted by the Windchime Collective
1:00 p.m. Guided Tour of the history, art, and architecture of the church
1:30 – 3:30 p.m. Theatre Archives Open at the Episcopal Actors’ Guild (EAG) in Guild Hall
3:00 p.m. Piano Concert by our own Matei Varga on the Bosendorfer piano
4:00 p.m. Guided Tour on the church’s history through a theatrical lens, hosted by the EAG
Sunday, October 19th
12:30 p.m. Guided Tour/Visita guiada en español
1:00 Guided Tour of the history, art, and architecture of the church
2:00 p.m. Celebrate Freedom with the Episcopal Actors’ Guild and its annual “Celebration of Song,” with the music of Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, Joan Baez, and songs from Broadway musicals including Les Misérables and 1492.
