About our Concert Series
Transfiguration is home to The Arnold Schwartz Memorial Concert Series, which was founded by Marie Schwartz in 2004 in memory of her late husband. Since then over fifty concerts, operas, and music dramas have been performed, using some of the finest singers and musicians in New York City. In addition, the church presents outstanding musical groups from September through June.
The Midday Music series presents a variety of musical artists, both singers and instrumentalists, in half hour concerts during the fall and spring. Our Midday Concert series "One West / One East” is a collaboration with Marble Collegiate Church. This year’s theme is “French Fanfares”. Weekly concerts will begin on Wednesday, April 15.
We also present and produce a number of special concerts and events for our community.
